The Attributes of the Divine Masculine

For humans to unlock their full potential there must be a balance between the internal divine masculine and divine feminine energies. These energies are inherent to both women and men. An imbalance between these energies can be caused by past experiences that have affected you emotionally and physiologically. Doubt in oneself and self-loathing have been found to be one of the most common causes of an imbalance.  

The Divine Masculine

Most people have the misconception that divine masculinity is only found in men. This is, however not true. It represents the spiritual and true form of masculinity which becomes evident through thoughts and actions whereas the divine feminine expresses the truest form of feminine energy within you.  In a real-life setting, the divine masculine would manifest as being confident but not arrogant, being rational without being possessive, strong but gentle and offering safety and guidance through leadership.

Qualities of the Divine Masculine.

There are many qualities of the divine masculine, some of which include, Action-oriented, Pursuant, Vulnerable, and responsible. In this article, we discuss the broader traits of the sacred masculinity like Power, Strength, focus, Leadership, and Logic.

• Power: The sacred masculine’s power comes from within. It allows him to be a king in that he can stand up for himself and for what is honorable.  This power is intrinsic and not taken from anyone through manipulation or trickery.
• Focus: When the divine masculine is sure in the path he wants to take, nothing can stand in his way. Together with other attributes like Power and determination, he can achieve his goals.
• Strength: The divine masculine strength does not only focus on physical strength. This is an inner strength that will help you through challenges in life to overcome them all. This strength manifests itself through a leader who provides guidance without the need for praise and is strong but gentle, which inspires others to follow his lead.
• Logical: the divine masculine is reasonable in all his decisions and actions. He uses logic to plan and schedule tasks to execute them successfully. This ensures that there are guidance and stability to plans that are made moving forward.
• Leadership: The divine masculine is a leader. He does not forcefully take leadership or acquire it through mischievous means. He leads with security and kindness. He promotes the idea of everyone’s ability to lead according to their strengths. He uses his position to grow others and mentor them to build them into better people.

People are naturally stronger in some aspects as compared to others. Finding a balance between these two energies will not be easy and requires time, patience and self-awareness. The main goal should be to master the positive attributes related to each energy. One of the ways of achieving a balance include meditation.  Take some time during the day to meditate and connect with your inner energy to understand how and why you have certain reactions to specific situations.  This can help you make the changes you need to provide a balance between your divine masculine and divine feminine energies.
