What is the American Dream?

Recently I’ve been revisiting Will Marre information from the American Dream Project, partly because it is thought provoking information and also I’m in a place where his words are striking a new cord inside me.

I’ve been coaching for 2 ½ years and I really enjoy helping people shatter their limiting beliefs about themselves, what they can do and how big they can dream.  Another part of me wants to workout twice a day, go on adventures (rock climbing, mountaineering, white water rafting) and be spontaneous…this is when I really feel alive. 

So when I listened to this segment from Will, it’s made me think of how can I combine both my enjoyment of helping people and my love for adventure?  I know that when I combine these two “parts” of myself that I will be in 7th heaven!   I’ll be living in peak performance, personal success and happiness…this is the American Dream!

 Take Action

Take time today—not tomorrow, or the next day—to passionately engage in something that makes you happy, whether it’s going for a bike ride, golfing, working in the garden, or reading a book.  When we take time every day to feed our passions, we are also feeding our soul.  You are living with mental strength and personal empowerment!
