Time Management: Warrior Mind Podcast #193

This Warrior Mind Podcast is based on the post “Time Management Skills For Success.”

The purpose of this Warrior Mind Podcast is to help you with time management by using the “sacristy” of time to motivate you to take action now toward your goals and dreams.

Too little time and too much to do is a common condition for many of us. Everyday demands or chores seem to engulf the day, leaving little time to pursue those things you enjoy.

But you do have choices about your time management and how you spend your time. Balancing what you need to do with what you want to do can lead to happiness and success. Many of us complain, “There just isn’t enough time in the day!”

But the truth is that we have enough time to do what is important in our lives. You can always make time for the people you value and for the activities worth doing. All you need do is become a master of time management.

More thoughts on time management

Time is a great equalizer. Young or old, male or female, rich or poor, and regardless of education or any other factor, everyone is equal when it comes to time. At midnight every day, kings and beggars alike both receive a credit of 24 hours.

Time is an asset like money and we can choose to invest our time, to spend it wisely or to waste it. However, unlike money, time cannot be saved or borrowed.

So if everyone’s account gets the same 24-hour deposit each day, why is it that some people accomplish many great things while other people end up frustrated, behind in their work, and dead on their feet?

It’s simply because some people are more skilled at making time their ally rather than their enemy.

If you are frequently frustrated by not having enough hours in the day to do everything you need to, then you are probably not fully aware of where all your time goes and should look at your time management skills.

Get a pocket-size spiral notebook and, for one week, keep track of how you spend your time. Every time you change tasks or activities, record the time and what you’re starting to do.

Or you can get a great app to help, I recommend Rescue Time.
