10 Self-Help Books You Must Have In Your Collection

Because there are so many self-help books today finding something to read is not a problem – deciding which ones to read is the more pressing issue. You will find books on self-help inclined towards Zen and meditation; or healing; or spirituality; or specific religions; or physical improvement or management.

Then, added to that you have journals and online publications. Plus, you have books that are not directly labeled self-help but deal with important aspects of it.  The list is virtually endless.

Finding the Right Self-Help Books

So, how exactly do you find self-help books that are right for you? Remember that books do cost money and take up space (either physically or virtually) – both of which may be at a premium for you. Even if you manage to obtain self-help books from the library, you would still have to contend with spending time selecting and browsing through volumes to find just the right self-help books.

Efficiently finding what to read more may be easier if first of all you have an idea of where you want to go with your transformation. If you are going through an extremely painful loss then books that focus on transformation for healing are the ones for you.

If you are a manager going through tough times in the workplace, you might find it helpful to look at books that deal with stress management. A quick scan of book titles and chapters will give you a clue as to how extensively this or any other desired topic is discussed.
