Mental Strength Tip #81 – Work-Life Balance for Personal Success

Welcome back to another Mental Strength Tip!

Achieving personal success and reaching your personal goals begins with a mental strength mindset of empowering beliefs.

Reaching your personal goals and personal success starts in your mind…and finishes with taking inspired and massive action.

This is one in a series of virtual success coaching and mental strength tips to help kick-start your week.  It is intended to enthuse and inspire you to take action so that you can reach your personal goals and personal success.

I take one mental strength tips and run though a brief overview of it, then ask some very direct success coaching questions.  The intention of this virtual success coaching session is for you to write and answer these questions in your success journal and then reflect on them to gain insight on yourself, your dreams and what’s holding you back.

Let’s Get Started:

Often when we filled constantly tired, stressed, can’t sleep and irritable, these are all signs that we are out of balance.  When we are in balance life flows, sure we may hit a few bumps, but they fade away with time.  If you are feeling “tense”, cranky, on-edge regularly this is a sign that something is a miss.  This is a time you need to subtract things…not add things to create balance.

Questions to Uncover Beliefs about Mental Strength Thinking:

  • Why is work-life balance so elusive to so many?
  • What keeps people out of work-life balance?
  • Is work-life balance even possible in today’s hectic world?

Unsupportive Beliefs about Work-Life Balance

  • It’s impossible to obtain personal success and live a balanced life.
  • Top performance and very successful people have no balance in their life
  • You have to choose between wealth and balance.

Mental Strength Beliefs about Work-Life Balance

  • Personal success comes through work-life balance.
  • Losing balance from time is time is natural.
  • If you’re not out of balance once in a while, you’re not pushing yourself enough.

Outrageous Questions:

  • Are you taking enough action to be out of balance?
  • Will creating more balance move you closer to achieving your personal success?
  • How will you know you’ve achieved work-life balance?

Reflective Questions:

  • On a scale of 1-9, 9 being most, how balanced is your life now?
  • What does work-life balance mean to you?
  • What would you have to change in order to attain a balanced life?

Mental Strength Coaching:

To help with achieving balance in your life I suggest utilizing objective reality to achieve balance.  The average person wants to reach their personal goals and achieve personal success, but really isn’t doing the important work.

The average person is deeply involved with busy work, not important work, so they feel out of balance and not able to achieve the personal success they desire.
