Objective of this Mental Strength Tip:

Let’s Get Started:

With our busy schedules it might be difficult to find time to think about who we are, our strengths and weaknesses, our drives and personalities, our habits and values.  Besides, many of us just aren’t inclined to spend much time on self-reflection.  Even when personal feedback is presented to us, we’re not always open to it, because honest feedback isn’t always flattering.

Consequently, many of us have a pretty low level of self-awareness.  That’s unfortunate, because self-awareness is an essential first step toward achieving personal success.  Self-awareness can improve our judgment and help us identify opportunities the will assist in reaching our goals and creating the life f power, purpose and passion!

Mental Strength Coaching:

Self-awareness is about knowing who you are. It is the ability to define yourself in terms of the way you think, the way you feel, your wants, your needs, your values, your personal beliefs, your strengths, your weaknesses, your expectations and your aspirations. In a sense, self-awareness is about understanding just how unique you are, and how your uniqueness adds value to the world, as you continually grow and change.

In order to develop self-awareness, you have to look deep inside yourself and ask some critical questions…

  • “What do I believe in?”
  • “What is important to me?”
  • “What do I love and/or enjoy?”
  • “What are my strengths/weaknesses?”
  • “What do I want to achieve in my life?
