Welcome back the continuation of this series entitled “Mental Strength Habits Of A Purpose Focused Man”

We’ve been breaking down 21 habits of a purposed focused man one. A man with a purpose driven life exhibits specific qualities in 5 segments of his life, these segments are:

  • Mental
  • Physical
  • Emotional
  • Financial
  • Spiritual

If this is your first time here the link back to “Mental Strength Habits Of A Purpose Focused Man – Part I.

There is no “mid-life crisis” for men…generally speaking.

This “mid-life crisis” for men is, is just a lack of focus and purpose.  When men lose their purpose, they also lose our focus.  When they lose their focus they feel lost.  And many men attempt to find themselves in unproductive behaviors.

My main point of these posts and my private intensive, The 2nd Passage, is to help men realize that they do have a mission and purpose in life.  And once they find it they can live a life of power, purpose, passion and perseverance!

My hope is that through these series of posts and The 2nd Passage Intensive, I will help men who, admittedly or not, are experiencing a mid-life emptiness and guide them back to manhood and step into their masculinity…without becoming a jerk.

We’ve already covered the mental qualities and well into the emotional habits of a highly focused purpose driven man.  We’ll look at another financial habit:

Financial Control:

Purpose Focused Man

  • Budget where each dollar goes and the what it will return
  • Knows there is no get rich quick scheme
  • Wealth takes dedication, mental strength, constant and persistent action
  • Increase revenue and lower expenses

A man with a purpose driven life understands that there are no get rich quick schemes and that his financial success is solely dependent on him and sound financial knowledge.

A man living a purpose focused life takes account of every dollar, not just in spending but in investing as well.  He is not a penny pincher, but he does know where every dollar goes and the return on his investments.

He knows the main goal for financial freedom is to reduce expenses and increase revenue.  All financial decisions are based on this model.

No Life Purpose, Unfocused Man

  • Looks for short-cuts and get rich quick
  • See the fruits of others labors and wants to take a bit without putting the same effort that produced it
  • Increase expenses and keep the same or reduce revenue

The man living a life with no purpose is looking for the quick way out, even if it means benefiting from other efforts.  The trouble here is that he’ll invest in quick money schemes never realizing that the money invested could have been put to better use.

The man with out a purpose driven life wants wealth to come him as quickly and easily as possible without putting in any effort.

Financial Control: The habit of budgeting your resources and knowing where each of your dollars go and what they will return.

OK…looking at the above mental strength financial characteristic for a man with a purpose driven life, take the below survey and see how well you’re doing… and please have the courage to be honest with yourself.

Men, I’m sure by now you’re beginning to get a sense of where you are in Life.  Please remember there is not right or wrong place; it’s just where you are.  The question is, what are you going to do about it!

Are you courageous enough to take action and change?

If this post has raised some questions, consider investing in yourself, your vision and your life.  Take a look at The 2nd Passage for a way to put your power, passion and purpose into action and life a purposed driven life.

I’ll leave you these quote’s:

“In the old days a man who saved money was a miser; nowadays he’s a wonder.” – Author Unknown

“The amount of money you have has got nothing to do with what you earn. People earning a million dollars a year can have no money and people earning $35,000 a year can be quite well off. It’s not what you earn, it’s what you spend” –  Paul Clitheroe
