Interview with Alpha Male Rick Collins
Warrior Mind Podcast – Episode 4
This week I had the distinct pleasure of interviewing Rick Collins. Rick is co-author of the “Alpha Male Challenge.” This is a great book and a must have for ANY guy!
Some of the things we discussed were:
- Where are we heading as a species (men) and do you see a division occurring among us men?
- The TRUE Alpha Male – who is he? I’m presuming you don’t suggest men go back to the 50’s where’s a women place was in the home?
- How do you see this new Alpha Male affecting the attitude of the female population?
- Can you comment on how important the attitude…the mental strength of man wanting to evolve into the Alpha Male is? (mental fitness)
- One of the questions in the book you ask “How do you want to improve yourself, inside and out?” Can you talk about setting VERY specific goals and how this helps in the transformation? (performance based goals vs. results)
- It seems that women have this “bonding” thing done to a science. Why is it that men are reluctant to join men’s only groups for support and encouragement?
- What are the key attributes of the True Alpha Male?
- You have a ton of exercises in the book and in your 10 week workout plan, but I don’t see any kettlebells, sand bags, or TRX, was this intentional or was there more to it?
- There’s recently been a lot of discussion around the Consumers Report on “bad” protein drinks, can you comment on this?
- How did you and James get together for this book and program?
- What are some of the ways men can find out more about becoming a True Alpha Male?
