The Unconscious Mind And Your Comfort Zone

There is nothing more damaging in a person’s journey to success than their comfort zone. When we start to feel comfortable and safe with what we have, we start to lose our drive to achieve more and we get stuck in a perpetual state of denial.

The problem with being in a comfort zone is that taking risks becomes too difficult because you are afraid of losing what you have, even if you know you could do much better. The fear of losing a lifestyle that makes you feel unaccomplished can be bigger than the desire to create a better life.

How to recognize the limitations of your comfort zone

  • It makes it hard for you to capitalize on good opportunities
  • It keeps you from improving your skills
  • It limits your ability to become a stronger person
  • It forces you to forget about your personal goals
  • It limits your networking reach
  • It keeps you from trying new things
  • It limits the way you see relationships

Being able to change your unconscious mind is going to create a mindset that leads to success. There are many beliefs that lead to bad decisions and we often have to find out the hard way. The good news is that this can stop if you make a conscious decision to leave your comfort zone behind.

Some of the benefits of changing your unconscious mind include:

  • More clarity when working on your projects
  • An easier time figuring out your next business move
  • A constant feeling of discomfort with things that used to feel comfortable
  • The confidence to take calculated risks
  • The courage to leave your comfort zone

Your unconscious mind is the backbone of every decision you make in life. Your mindset is going to be extremely counterproductive if you don’t deal with the negative things that you haven’t been unable to overcome.

You are often going to feel discomfort when you try to do anything new, but this is caused by a negative mindset and it is your responsibility to identify this issue and work on improvement.

comfort zone

We are all aware of a bad mindset when we have it, but it can be hard to take action and make some drastic changes in our lives. The process of pushing ourselves further away from our comfort zones is the ticket to a successful life.

It’s always easier to leave things as they are in your life even if you are unhappy. Some people are so terrified of change that they are willing to stay in stressful situations just to avoid risking what they have.

Ask yourself an important question. Do you feel like you did everything you needed to do in order to improve your mindset?

Once you can flip the switch on your mindset, you will start to take more calculated risks. Then you will begin to live your life the way you did before it was cluttered with negativity and limiting beliefs.

It may seem impossible right now, but all it takes is for you to reflect on the problems that your comfort zone has brought to your life, and how things can continue to worsen if you don’t make a conscious decision to change.

The comfort zones that we create in life are built on bricks that are made up of fear and lack of motivation. We are never going to be able to break out of a negative mindset if we continue to allow ourselves to live our lives within the boundaries of that comfort zone.

Are you ready to start a completely new chapter in your life and leave those limiting beliefs in the past?

You are your biggest supporter.
