Mental Strength Tip #83 – Momentum And Personal Success

Welcome back to another Mental Strength Tip!

Achieving personal success and reaching your personal goals begins with a mental strength mindset of empowering beliefs.

Reaching your personal goals and personal success starts in your mind…and finishes with taking inspired and massive action.

This is one in a series of virtual success coaching and mental strength tips to help kick-start your week.  It is intended to enthuse and inspire you to take action so that you can reach your personal goals and personal success.

I take one mental strength tips and run though a brief overview of it, then ask some very direct success coaching questions.  The intention of this virtual success coaching session is for you to write and answer these questions in your success journal and then reflect on them to gain insight on yourself, your dreams and what’s holding you back.

To assist you in realizing that momentum is created by you independent of outside circumstances.

Let’s Get Started:

Momentum comes from the Latin of movement and is partially defined as a “driving power or strength.”

When you look at the definition it’s clear to see that momentum can be used for personal success as well as personal “failure.” The question is, which way are you using it?

Questions to Uncover Beliefs about Mental Strength Thinking:

  • How does mental strength momentum occur?
  • What experiences have you had with momentum in your life?
  • Can momentum be artificially created?

Unsupportive Beliefs about Momentum

  • Positive momentum only comes from positive events.
  • Momentum can’t be explained, it just happens.
  • Momentum comes and goes without warning or explanation.

Mental Strength Beliefs about Momentum

  • Momentum can be created at will.
  • Mental strength momentum is created by supportive thoughts.
  • Positive momentum comes from a courageous state of mind.

Outrageous Questions:

  • Do you know how to create psychological momentum on demand?
  • What steps do you take to create momentum in achieving your personal success?
  • How capable are you in creating momentum when you need to?

Reflective Questions:

  • What thought processes help you in creating mental and physical momentum?
  • On a scale of 1-9, 9 being best, how good are you at creating momentum?
  • What person is the best at creating movement you have every met?
    • Why do you think this of them?

Mental Strength Coaching:

Once you have comprehended how important it is to understand and study the power of momentum and to know it can be triggered by specific thoughts, it’s now tome to engage in the momentum creating process in your life.

Start by keep of journal of the ways in which you create momentum in moving towards your personal success as well as things you do to create momentum away from your personal goals.

Keep track of both mental and physical things.  Then review them weekly so that you can better harness the power momentum to do more of things that move you closer towards your personal goals and personal success.

Final Thought

This virtual mental strength and success coaching session is about teaching the importance of controlling and directing your mental strength energy towards creating thoughts that emotionally excite you and will help you move into positive action.
