Welcome back to another Mental Strength Tip!

Achieving personal success and reaching your personal goals begins with a mental strength mindset of empowering beliefs.

Reaching your personal goals and personal success starts in your mind…and finishes with taking inspired and massive action.

This is one in a series of virtual success coaching and mental strength tips to help kick-start your week.  It is intended to enthuse and inspire you to take action so that you can reach your personal goals and personal success.

I take one mental strength tips and run though a brief overview of it, then ask some very direct success coaching questions.  The intention of this virtual success coaching session is for you to write and answer these questions in your success journal and then reflect on them to gain insight on yourself, your dreams and what’s holding you back.

These series of posts are for YOU!  If I’m not able to success coach you personally one-on-one over the phone or in The 2nd Passage, I want you to at least get the benefit of a virtual mental strength and success coaching session.

Objective of this Mental Strength Tip:

To help you become obsessed with your personal goals.  To assist you in  understanding that putting our personal goals on paper and reviewing them daily is crucial for personal success.

Few people really understand goal setting and fewer yet practice it.  The purpose of this virtual success coaching session is to persuade you how important goal setting really is.

Let’s Get Started:

If I asked you your top three goals in career, health and relationship could you tell me with specific detail?  Most people can’t.  So by the end of the virtual mental strength session your going be on your way to knowing and describing those goals.

Questions to Uncover Beliefs about Mental Strength Thinking:

  • How important is goal setting in reaching personal success?
  • Why do you goal setting is important…or not important?
  • Why have so many people heard about goal setting, but only one percent that the time to do it?

Unsupportive Beliefs about Goal Setting

  • I know what I want. I don’t need to write it down because it’s all in my head.
  • If I write down my goals and fail I’ll be disappointed.
  • Goal setting is for dreamers and unorganized people.

Mental Strength Beliefs about Goal Setting

  • My personal goals are the blueprint of my life.
  • My personal goals direct my everyday actions.
  • Goal setting is mandatory for achieving personal success.

Outrageous Questions:

  • How much mental strength energy do you direct toward your three top life goals per day?
  • How often do you review your major personal goals?
  • How is this helping you, or hurting you?
  • Is it possible you have underestimated the importance of personal goal setting?

Reflective Questions:

  • Would you be willing to reevaluate your beliefs about personal goal setting if I told you it move you closer to achieving your personal success?
  • On a scale of 1-9, 9 being most important, how important is goal setting to you?
  • Why is goal setting so important to you?

Mental Strength Coaching:

Most people occasionally enjoy moderate success and they’ll tell you they believe in goal setting, but can’t tell you their primary goals in 10 seconds or less if they had to.

They are dangerously unaware of how much this costing them, because they are at the level of thinking where they believe knowing something equals actively practicing it.

In reality, they are no better off than the person who’s never heard of goal setting, maybe worse.

I encourage your to write down your top personal goals every day for 30 days and watch what happens. I know you’ll be amazed at the level of mental strength clarity and focus you’ll gain from this exercise.

Personal goal setting is the foundation of mental strength and personal success.  Vision is the emotion and energy that drives a person to achieve their personal goals. Put them together and you’ll be laser focused and emotionally super-charged and unstoppable!
