Mental Strength Habits Of A Purpose Driven Man – Part II
In Mental Strength Habits Of A Purpose Focused Man – Part I we outlined the 21 habits of a purpose focused man, for the next few weeks we’re going to look at each one in a bit more depth.
I want to say again that I think that there is no mid-life crisis for men…well generally speaking.
What this mid-life crisis for men is, is a lack of focus and purpose. When we lose our purpose, we lose our focus. When we lose our focus we feel lost. And many men attempt to find themselves in unproductive behaviors.
My main point of these posts and my private intensive, The 2nd Passage, is to help men realize that they do have a mission and purpose in life. And once they find it they can live a life of power, purpose, passion and perseverance!
I hope is that through this series of posts and The 2nd Passage, I be will help men who, admittedly or not, are experiencing a mid-life crisis of emptiness and guide them back to manhood and help them step into their masculinity and life a purpose driven life…without becoming a jerk.
So…now let’s take a look at the first category of a highly focused purpose driven man.
The first behavior of a purpose driven man falls under the category of “Mental Habits”
Purpose Driven Life – A Life Vision:
Purpose Focused Man
- Knows what he want out of life for himself and his family (if he has one) in full sensory and multidimensional before he achieves it.
- Purpose driven life.
- Knows and use the power of the electrochemistry of the brian.
- He pre-lives every goal.
- Know his vision is Life-Force behind motivation
- Knows that the clearer the vision the more the dedication to the achievement of that vision he will become.
- Knows this life vision provides his desire to create
- He uses ALL senses; visual, auditory, kinesthetic, olfactory, gustatory to see and describes his vision.
Unfocused Man
- No main goal
- No intermediate goal
- No life purpose or mission
- Don’t know where he wants to go because “it takes too much work”
- Is he does have something it’s general and vague, i.e. more money, bigger house, happier
- Ask him specifically what he wants and he’ll give an empty stare in return.
- Unable to vividly sense what they want
Men, you must have a vision for you and your family! Your vision comes from your purpose and the mission comes from your vision.
With out a crystal clear vision for what you want to create in life you are taking a backseat to life and unconsciously expecting someone else to tell you want to do and when.
This is NOT what a purposed driven man does!
He visualizes his future in exact details, down to how many power tools he has and what they are used for.
A purpose driven man leaps out of bed early every morning proclaiming “I am alive, alert and awake. I am joyous and enthusiastic about this day. I fairly sizzle with zeal and enthusiasm to do the things hat ought to be done by me today!”
He understands the power of the holographic brain and uses it for his benefit.
He is literally a man on a mission…a man of power, purpose and passion.
Look again and the characteristic of this mental strength behavior. Then take this quick survey and see how well you’re doing… and have the courage to be honest with yourself.
Mental Habits
1. Sensory Life Vision: Has purposed driven life fueled by a completing vision. Has the habit of translating every goal into specific, well-defined images rich in vision, sound, touch, taste, smell, and emotion. Pre-living the realization of the goal and its positive consequences in rich sensory detail.
