18 Mental Strength Questions You Must Answer
Have you ever been asked a question that the answer should be obvious, but you had to think hard before you answered?
The answer might be straight forward to some people, but to others who never stop to think of a few things that happen in their lives, it could be baffling.
When you can answer an intriguing question right away this is a sign of:
- You have thought about it deep enough
- The question wasn’t compelling enough
Sometimes we need to ask ourselves mental strength questions in order to give ourselves a “wake up call.”
After all, since we’re responsible for our own enlightenment we MUST be strong enough to ask the questions and not wait for anyone else to ask them.
I’m going to start the process by listing below 18 mental strength questions to ask yourself today.
At first many will invoke an apparent answer, don’t stop there, dig deeper. In addition, several may even trigger a “a-ha” response.
Have in mind that there is no right or wrong answers to these questions, because sometimes when you ask yourself the right questions, you have already given yourself the right answer as well.
1. If all jobs paid the same, what would you do?
2. If you knew that everyone was going to die tomorrow, who would you visit today and why?
3. If we learn from our mistakes, why are we always so afraid to make them?
4. If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich?
5. If you could offer a child only one piece of advice about life in general, what would it be?
6. Have you been the kind of friend to others that you yourself would want as a friend?
7. Would you rather have less work to do or would you prefer to have more work you actually enjoy doing?
8. At what time in the past have you felt most passionate and alive? What or who caused that feeling and why?
9. If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like doing, and not do so many things that we would like to do?
10. What are you most grateful for in your life and why?
11. What is your greatest fear and has it ever become a reality?
12. Which do you think is worse, when a good friend moves away, or losing touch with a good friend who lives close to you?
13. What are you holding onto (something or someone), that you need to let go of?
14. When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you have actually done?
15. What is the one thing that you really want to do, but you have not yet done it, and what is holding you back from doing it?
16. What would you do differently if you could never be judged wrongly by anybody?
17. Have you ever been with someone, said nothing, and walked away feeling like you just had the best conversation ever?
18. To what degree have you actually controlled the course of your life, and what has proven to be your biggest distraction over this course?
Interesting questions don’t you think?
Sorry, that’s another question!!!
Remember, there is no right answer. The answer you come up with is a reflection of your filters, i.e. beliefs, values, education, past experience.
So as you examine your answers ask yourself one overriding question “Why is this so?”
This will expose the tip of your filters.
Once that happens hang-on for a ride!
